Hi, my name is Steve.
I've been into fresh water for 20 years and thought I'd try salt water.
My tank is a 210 and I'm running 2 FX5s and a 36 w UV.
I started my salt water adventure a week ago last Friday, so tank is still cycling.
I decided just to stick with fish until I get a hang of things.
This looks to be a great forum with lots of info.

Thank you everyone.
I'm still trying to decide which way to go with my tank.
I want to do fish.
So, do I go with the little pretty ones or go predatory?
Right now I've got 3 little fish in there now until tank cycles.
A mono, coral beauty, and yellow tang.
I know the tang should have come later, but I thought he'd be tough enough to live through first cycle.

Hi Steve welcome to the forum! That's a huge first salt water tank. My first was 12g lol. Go big or go home right!

I started my fresh water stingrays in that tank. Since then,I got a 560 for thema and I wanted to do something I haven't done before.
Besides that, I thought with so much water, the tolerances would be a little easier on me.

Hi and welcome to the forum! Many people wouldn't advise you to cycle with fish - rather you could ghost feed or use a couple of table shrimp to start the cycle......you may want to consider returning the fish you got and wait until your cycle is complete. A cycle can be pretty hard on the fish
