Hello everyone, anemone question.

So far all my parameters have stayed at where they need to be except my ph which stays around 8.0 but also don't have any buffers yet

Do not bother with ph. Chasing it will do you no good. So long as it is CONSTANT you'll be fine anywhere from 7.8-8.4

What are your Alk, Cal and Mag levels? They will plan a big role in the pH levels.

IMO/E, length of time that the tank has been running is a big deal. Not only from a water chemistry point of view, but also from the reefers point of view. Takes time to get familiar with your tank and being able to tell something is "off" before it becomes a problem.

And in the house --- seem more pH questions during the winter (( windows closed and gas fired furance running )) and to a lesser extent middle of summer (( windows closed )).

My ph is usually around 7.8-7.85 and I've seen fantastic growth in all corals and nems. Be nice to get it up to 8.1 but it's winter and I don't dose 2 part or kalk.

I order one of these last night, hopefully it will give me the lighting I need
