Thats exactly what we were thinking. Reefing is a fun hobby solo, however, with a partner it is sooo much better! Ky's first question for me while we were buying the tank was "So how many fish can we fit in it?" HahahaWelcome to R2R!!! My girlfriend at the time now wife also took the journey with me and now is as obsessed with it as I am. Makes for a fun hobby together she is always wanting frags and little fishies.
Welcome to the Reef. You know the old saying
The family the Reefs together... goes broke together. ;Hilarious ;Hilarious ;Hilarious

Hey there everyone! My girlfriend and I are diving into the reef-keeping world. I kept several somewhat successful reef tanks in the past, and this is her first time ever with any type of tank. We got our little one a Betta tank to take care of, and while at the LFS, I noticed her interest in saltwater. We made a spur of the moment decision to buy a wonderfully priced 40 gallon AIO. We will be posting a thread on our journey here within the next few days. I love witnessing the ecosystem evolve along with us and she seems to love the bright colors of both the fish and coral, and the movement in the tanks. But I think most of all, we love the fact that this is a hobby we can both share and have fun with. Can't wait to meet all of you guys and see your tanks!
A little about us.
Im Zac. I work growing medicinal and gourmet mushrooms here in Arizona and am slowly pursuing a degree in mycology. I have always been fond of nature, whether its 115 degree deserts, high elevation forests, or the beautiful reefs. When I am not at work I am either gaming next to our slice of the ocean, camping with family, or watching hockey. I am a huuuge Penguins and Coyotes fan and I cant wait for this years playoffs to start. Covid has reaaally interfered with my love of hockey lol.
Hellloooo I'm Kyanna! As said before, this is my first time working with saltwater and freshwater tanks. I'm excited to learn more and fill our tanks with beautiful water life. I like to spend my time either cooking or spending time with our daughter. Yoga, watercolor painting, and reading are hobbies that I've either slowly started getting into or wanting to incorporate into my life. Another new thing that I've been looking into is a cleaner eco-friendly lifestyle; gardening....zero waste...sustainable living
