I just started my second attempt on running a saltwater tank. My first attempt was about ten to fifteen years ago. I am starting off with a 20L tank. I have a 29g biocube to upgrade to and also a new 75g.

Welcome to R2R! Sounds to me like you have some choices with tanks! You have some will power, because i would have that 75g set up right off the start! Great to see you are taking the plunge back into the hobby! May i ask why you are holding out on the 75g? It must be sitting there mocking you and begging to be set up!

You might be surprised how much information is out there now, subsequently making a care plan waaaay easier than 15 yes ago. Good luck and enjoy!

Welcome if you need any help this is the place to get it.

Welcome aboard. Set up the 75 as your DT, the 20L as your sump, and keep the 29 as your QT. If you didn't have an RO/DI unit in the past, I'd highly recommend you get one, along with a good skimmer.

I am holding off on the 75 because i am waiting for my base rock to become live so that i can seed the other tanks.

I did not do any research and was using tap water and i got put on 12 hours at work 6 days a week 6 weeks in a row. So i sold every think except the rock because i did not have the time for it.

Thanks everyone for the replies I am sorry I did not get back to everyone I am still learning my way around.
