New guy here, and just wanted to say hi. I have been in the hobby a little over 30 years so i guess i just graduated from the newbie stage but always learning. My current setup is a 180 gallon mixed reef with a 40 gallon frag/grow out tank attached. My name is Mark and I am from Staten Island N.Y. and just wanted to introduce myself.

Thanks everyone.

Hi Mark, that is quite a beautiful set up you have there, care to share some specs with us??

Sure, this system has been up for a little over two years and replaced my 75 gallon. The plan was to keep it simple but we all know how that goes. For lights i have two Ecotech radion Gen 2's and a Gen 3 (the 2's where on my 75) over the main display and I have a photon 24 over the frag tank. The sump is a Trigger systems ruby 36E and i run a DIY algae scrubber in the fuge area. I run carbon and gfo in the reactors and run a skimz 203 skimmer. I do a 30 gallon water change once a month normally and dose two part. I also change out filter socks every 3 to for days.
