I am happy to find this forum and all the information that is shared here !! As for me I am as new and green to this as one can possibly be. I am starting with a 55 gallon tank and unless I change my mind it will be a FOWLR tank. I have yet to begin other than getting tank and stand yesterday. I plan on ordering a RODI today and will slowly start to acquire the basics. I will be soaking up information like a sponge over the next few days and hopefully will not become disoriented or bogged down with info overload. I am trying to do my best to keep it simple and focus on basic do's and dont's :).

Welcome Rodney ! An rodi is a good move . Don't forget a refractometer. this way you control the water you use , Not have to rely what the LFS tells you.
When Ya get some equipment in Give us a pic or two & ask away !
Your gonna have fun !

Thanks Guys and Gals for making me seem so at home here and thanks for all your support and encouragement !!!

I have decided to go with a Reef instead of a FOWLR mainly because I want a reef !! LOL and I feel like the support here will be great plus I love to learn !!

I have started a build thread in the member tank section feel free to check it out comment as you will just be gentle :)

Couple quick thoughts:

SPR1968 I used your format for build link as I think it looks good :)
Cracker I did order a refractometer as well thanks for the heads up !!
