Thank you for the kind words, a lot had happened for sure. And I love to ready how everyone handles their tanks. I like to keep it simple, but am currently looking at a dosing unit to keep levels stable and stop water changing weeklyGreat build thread! Awesome pics. You have gotten a lot done in 4 months. Like everything in the hobby, there are simple ways and complicated ways of doing everything. An ATO is a basic must...Thank you for the kind words, a lot had happened for sure. Agreed, a Neptune system is for on the long run, for now let's start simple dosing of minor an mayor elements. Tbh I still don't have a ATO, but also on the listLike everything in the hobby, there are simple ways and complicated ways of doing everything. An ATO is a basic must...
for dosing, you can go all in and jump into Neptune or dip a toe with the BRS 1.1 ml dosing pumps. There are plenty of places in between.
Mine isn't connected at the moment because I am transitioning between one tank and an upgrade. I soooooo miss having my ATO. Once you get it, you won't look back. I bought two BRS 1.1 ml used on the Marketplace here. It has kept my Alk very stable. I don't feel compelled to get anything fancy right now. Dip a toe and see what you need as your experience grows. Sometimes you do not need to jump into the deep end when the kiddie pool will get the job done.Agreed, a Neptune system is for on the long run, for now let's start simple dosing of minor an mayor elements. Hahaa, I totally believe you, now the every 3 days manual topping of is already starting to get old.
