I have always wanted a reef tank and now I finally have one, this is a tank I got off of craigslist, it was already established when i got it, so I only changed some of the rock and added sand, how long should i wait before adding anemones or LPS coral like hammers or duncans, I've had it for about two weeks now. The tank is 95 and the sump is 25, the LEDS are a ROHS system. Anything would help

Welcome to R2R. Nice tank. I see you have fish in your tank. If your tank has cycled, you can add some hardy corals. I would take it slow to see how they do. things always change when you first start out.

Thank you, I don't know if the light would be enough to sustain LPS coral but I'm told it will, I got the tank with Kenya tree, a file fish, a flame angel and a black and white ocellaris clown

Welcome to Reef 2 Reef. :)

If it were me, I'd would not do any nems. until your system has been stable for about six months.
This hobby is all about patience, studying and stability.

Hope you feel at home and we're all glad you came aboard the R2R family.

Regards, GoVols

Thanks, when you say nems do you mean clownfish? I doesn't add them the were already in it.

The rock layout looks very nice. I would take everything slow. Maybe get some chaetomorpha algae growing in the sump.

Thank you, I put some in the sump already but it keeps falling apart and I have to buy a new set, but i read earlier on here that it's because its the compartment where I add salt water.
