HEY ALL!
i wanted to come on and tell you about me. I am 25 and new here. I am a gunsmith and have a lot of fresh and saltwater tanks.
first i have been in the hobby for about 5 years. i have had many tanks and have bought a lot of stuff for them. I do a lot of DIY stuff mostly hoods, stands, lighting(LEDs), costom sumps and system disigns.
My first tank was a 20G long with 2 clowns. i started with FOWLR tanks first than moved to reefing. did a lot of studying tank moved to reefing about 4 years ago.
My Tanks
i will go from small to large.
I have a 40 gallon tall FOWLR
a 55 Gallon aclimation system
a 100 gallon small reef tank in my bedroom

NOW my pride and JOY
I made this system over a year ago and it has been running with NO problems
first it is a system not a "TANK with SUMP" type of setup.
It is a 150
gallon main display tank
with a 100 gallon display refugum
a 75 gallon hexigon seahorse tank
and 2 100 gallon sumps and a 30 gallon sump for the sea horse tank
all sumps have a mix of LR and Bio Balls 60%BB and 40%LR
and on top of everything it is wisper quiet.

I wish i could but i dont hae a camra that works right now. i wish i could cause it is an awsome looker of a tank.
i can give you a discription for now tell later when i get a new camra.
it is a 75gallon hex tank with a center overflow box i DIYed the overflow box with 1/2" acrylic
i got some face coral from the LFS and attached it to the overflow for the ancors for the sea horses.
i have 6 seahorses iand 3 sea poneys
the 30gallon sump for the tank has bioballs, liverock and a skimmerand a U.V. sanitizer
than after the water is filtered it go's into the 100 gallon sump and so on.
