Hello from a noob reefer

Just venturing in to my first reef tank (although a set up I have bought ready made from someone giving up the hobby ) already learned so much from reading the forum. (Most of you seem like crazy engineers / scientists and blows my mind how much I have to learn ) just thought I'd join for some assistance for all the problems undoubtedly coming my way
Welcome. I am sure you will do well. Patients, diligence and determination are at the root of success. And there are certainly lots of crazy engineers and scientists here to help. Happy Reefing.

Dont invest in any expensive corals at first because there will be losses until you figure out the lighting, flow, nutrition and problems for each variety of coral you put into your tank.

Try a local coral show and buy $5-$10 frags and learn on those

Good Luck!
