Hello from Brazil!

Olá!

Hey Boo Anna Kendrick GIF

Cant wait to see what you come up with!
This is great place to get lots of info and connect with people in the hobby :) Happy to have you here! :smiling-face:

Any plans for a stand? I always thought industrial-style smoked or frosted acrylic - paneled aluminum extrusion stands with enclosed hoods on square tanks to look awesome.
I do have some plans to make a stand, and it seems quite interesting the industrial theming ... I'll be thinking more about it

Welcome! Brasil is a natural wonderland and the people are very warm and friendly!
my parents are friends with a family near Minas Gerais...my dad learned a bit of Brazilian Portuguese growing up.

Glad to have you here and welcome!

thanks for the advice, I'm using 15 centimeters of depth is it enough ? and sure we can rise some caipirinhas some day XD :)
Just for when something gets in there that isn't supposed to be, you will want to be able to get a tool, hand, net or tongs. But you don't have to make it hand sized

Hello everyone!! My name is Pedro and I'm quite new to this hobby(currently on learning, and brainstorm phase). I'm excited to learn more about with the R2R community. (and here is an photo of my 150L project that I'm working on :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:, suggestions are more than welcome!)

OK, Pedro, my first suggestion is to read everything you can in the section labeled "new to reefing". It may contain a lot of information you already know, but it will fill in the areas you don't, and put it in a cohesive place. Then, before you put rock in your tank there are a few incredible posts on aquascaping your tank and cycling your rocks. The first few months of a tank take a lot of patience, but you can avoid ugly tank syindrome with a bit of research and patience.
Good luck!

Welcome! Glad you joined. I applaud your innovation. Perhaps you've already found the Forum DIY area where you'll find like minded people.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
