Hi guys,

I'm new to the saltwater family! I've kept freshwater fish most of my adult life, and thinking of venturing into the depths of saltwater. I currently have a 100 gallon acrylic tank with a built in wet/dry filter system. This tank currently
houses African cichlids. Any advice you can give me will be appreciated.

What kind of cichlids do you keep?

Hi Don and welcome to R2R. First find a good home for the cichlids. After you have done that, your next step will be to figure out what kind of saltwater tank you would like to keep fowlr (fish only with live rock), fish only with decorations or full reef (meaning with corals). That will decide what kind of equipment you will need to purchase. By the way you're off to a great start with the 100g. Feel free to ask questions once you have decided.

Currently I keep African cichlids, Haps & Peacocks, all male.
