Good evening all,
I've been lurking around this forum for a little while, reviewing a lot of the posts and today I decided to join. I am excited to learn and grow with the community.
My reef keeping experience is only eight months. In that time I have learned a lot and assembled a few nice setups. The first setup I bought was a BioCube 29. I did a lot of research on them and ended up doing a ton of mods to it. Right now it is set up as a mixed reef setup. The second tank I picked up was a 3gal pico AIO tank that I won in a raffle at my first frag swap. I ended up setting it up on my night stand and put some LR in it that had some cabbage coral, mojano anemones and some aptasia. I added a frag of some pulsing Xenia and now it's a nice little nuisance tank that takes little effort to maintain. I also set up a 20L in my basement and it currently houses a pretty strong collection of different morphs of zoanthids and some LPS (Elegance, Plate, Frog Spawn and Octospawn).
This past weekend I took the plunge on grabbing a larger system. We don't have a ton of space in our living room, so I opted to get a 60g cube. The tank and stand are on order and should be arriving in the next week. I can't wait to get started. I will post a build thread shortly.
Well...I have a ton of questions and I'm a huge fan of research so I cannot wait to get started with everyone.
Take care,
Joe C.
