Hey Guys! My name is Kyle. I've followed your Forum from Facebook for a long time now. I finally was able to get some time to sign up! I've been keeping Tanks since I was 8yrs old. I setup my first SW tank at 11yrs old. I've never turned back. I've kept anything from the common clownfish to sharks. I maintain 7 aquariums for some locals around here. They range in size from 36-660g.

One of my favorite things in this hobby personally has been keeping Clownfish. I've bred many kinds but personally like the common Ocellaris and True Perculas. I also like the designer Clownfish too! I currently keep a Black Ice Clownfish.

Anyway, This Forum looks great I am glad to be a part of it.

The only tank I have right now is a 20g mixed reef. I moved just over a year ago to a new home and remodeled my new home. So, as you could all imagine I was broke for a while. To keep my addiction from killing me I had to setup something. So, I setup a 20g tank. It was all I could talk my wife into. LOL. . . I am sure that is heard often.

Anyway, My tank information & Equipment is as follows:
  • 20G Mixed Reef
  • Aqua Illumination Hydra w/ Controller
  • Ecotech Marine MP10 Powerhead
  • Reefkeeper Elite Aquarium Controller
  • Red Sea Prizm HOB skimmer
  • Fluval 306 Canister Filter(Gutted: All that is in it is some pre-filter material & Carbon bags)
Live-stock is minimal as you could all imagine for such a small tank:
  • Royal Gramma
  • Black Ice Clownfish
  • 2 Nassarius Snails
  • Misc. Hermit crabs
  • 4 Nerite Snails
  • Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
Corals:
  • Mixed Zoos
  • Green & Red Montipora
  • Acropora
  • Pulsing Xenia
  • Colt Coral
  • Duncan Coral
  • Frog Spawn
  • Hammer Coral
  • Starburst Star Polyps
I've included a Video of the tank and it's corals. I figured the video gets it all out of the way and really shows the tank. :D

Thank You! I intend to upgrade in size soon. I'll probably keep this one up and just add a larger one into the picture. Shh... Don't tell my wife! :loco:

I have an 18 day old reef tank but I'm not new to keeping aquariums (just new to salt). Still being patient and waiting for the first cycle to complete. I have a 90 gallon with sand, 90 lbs. of base rock, about 20 lbs. of live rock, and 3 blue/green chromis. The live rock is amazing to watch. I have tons of cool critters waving around. Pretty sure I have a nasty anemone that I will have to deal with eventurally and a gorrilla crab that I am hunting down tonight.
Just keep swimming!

Welcome to R2R, a great bunch of reefers. I’m across the state from you between Fort Pierce and Vero Beach out in the sticks. Or better put, out in the groves.
