Hello everyone!
I’m not new to the reefing hobby or to this forum but I have finally decided that I’ve been lurking around this forum too long without properly introducing myself . All the people here have been very helpful and I’ve learned a lot of info along the way! I started out with a 10 gallon dwarf seahorse tank (Was a huge mistake on my part for starting out with advanced level creatures and it was before I was even introduced to this forum) but I managed to learn quite a lot about them and I kept my dwarf seahorses for a year until I made the worst mistake ever.... forgetting that I had lotion on my arm and reaching into the tank without thinking about it... (still hurts to this day ). That was a huge loss for me that day but I learned from my mistakes. After doing a ton more proper research and finding this forum I decided I needed to upgrade and try again but this time with a different approach. So that lead me to getting a 120 gallon reef with another taller reef tank connected to it on the side. I enjoyed both tanks for six years and I’ve had a lot of ups and downs with them. Around two months ago I decided that it was time for another new tank build since all my fish outgrew the 120! It’s around 400 gallons and I managed to get everything transferred over to the new tank 5 weeks ago so I’m super excited for this new reefing journey I have ahead of me. I’ve also been thinking about doing my first ever tank build thread for the new tank .
