Hi all I'm Barch from Idaho. I have been involved in the hobby now going on 5 years. I started this tank (my first) in January of 2013. I have it in my office so I can enjoy it at work. I started with a 125 g acrylic and just recently downsized to a 95 glass. After 5 years it was just to difficult to keep the acrylic tank clean and it scratched way to easily. I use a 55 g tank for a refugium that I have set up in the storage room next to my office with everything plumbed through the wall. I have all my water making tanks etc. there along with my ro/di set up that makes water changes pretty simple. I have included a few pics for you to enjoy although they aren't the greatest quality. I'm just using my iphone. Anyway I look forward to seeing evereyone else's tanks and learning more. Thanks

Great set up Barch!!! Welcome to a really good Reef Community. I always tell people that I was born in Idaho (live in Ohio now) and they look at me like - - - - - Idaho! I answer yes, there are people that live in Idaho and that per capita Idaho has the most millionaires living there! Welcome Again ;)

Just an update, sorry I don't post very much on here but I do check in once and a while, busy doing office things all the time. Anyway just thought I would post a recent picture of my tank, still going after about 9 years. I have just let it develop sort of naturally. You can see that soft corals are what like my tank, I'm pretty lax in taking care of it, rarely do water changes etc. I have 3 fish only, 2 clown fish and a hippo tang, you might spot him hiding in the shadows. I must say that I have thoroughly enjoyed this tank. Also it is my first and only salt water tank. I enjoy seeing what you all do with your tanks, this is a fun hobby that sure provides peaceful atmosphere especially in an office environment. Carry on!
