Well, I paid 1k for the full set up. It came with Red Sea skimmer 300, Ecotech mp10, reefwave 25, sicce return pump, clear lids lid, large mag float, aqqa heater, rock & sand etc.

Bought g5 ecotech xr15 pros separately that I’ll put on once it’s cycled.

Does that seem “killer” or just good..? Lol

I'd say its a nuke already lol

Hi everyone,

I have been an avid lurker for a few months here on reef2reef and have been wanting to get into the hobby since I was about 12 years old.

This past weekend the dream finally came true. Found a killer deal on a Red Sea Reefer 250 and I’ve got the process started. I could not be more excited and confident, especially with the trove of great information here.

If anyone is in the Omaha/Council bluffs area, let me know!

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread under Forum > Member Aquariums and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID). It is never to early.

I'd call that a good deal. I spent way more on my 1st sw tank. Welcome! I'm in the DSM area, but always nice to meet local or local-ish reefers.
