Greetings.
I've had interest in marine and freshwater biology since I was in high school, but never had an aquarium until about February of 2020. Now I have two 30G freshwater planted tanks and a 60G sumpless mixed reef. I like having macro algae in the tank for display as well as nutrient uptake, and I love euphilia coral, but my tank "baby" is my Australian elegance coral. I have 2 PJ cardinals, 1 ocellaris clown, 1 royal gramma, 1 blue chromis and two purple fire fish. I HAD a gold head sleeper but it made its way through my cover and went carpet surfing ( T.T )
I recently went on a hunt specifically for yellow coral to even out the colors, and picked up some sunset and rainbow millepora, and a few sticks of goldenrod acro. Currently heavily feeding omega flake+pellet, Aquavitro amino acids, reef nutrition phyto + ROE + oyster feast, reef roids and table shrimp (not all at once, throughout the week). All equipment is "budget" level. Current ANNP at 0/0/3/0.005 Dosing DIY alk and trace elements via autodoser.
The coral(s) than have the most frustrating growth pattern in my tank are the slow growing GSP and my floridia ricordia that REFUSE to split on their own. My most "successful" coral is my green goddess birdsnest purely due to recent growth rate, but deserving of mention are my red montipora cap which has survived MEN attacks AND my accidental fragging a number of times, as well as my elegance which acts as the canary for the tank, when something's wrong it's the first to react and it has survived all my mistakes so far.

I've been reading articles on R2R long enough that I figured I may as well make an account and say "Hello"
