I am new to th salt water scene - I have had a cichlid tank for 7 years - nice corner unit. I have always wanted to do a reef tank, and finnaly am getting my chance. i came across a great deal on a brand new DSA 100 pro.

Here it is. Planning on doing the set up this week. So far its a box with some blue lights!

DSA 100 Gallon Pro
eshopps RS-100 sump
lifeguard QL-25 UV Sterilizer (not sure if I am going to hook up - it is to large for the cabinate upright - not sure I can mount I sideways?? anyone?)
Wavemaster pro wavemaker
(2) Hydro Koralia 1500 GPH Wavemakers
(1) Hydro Koralia 2250 GPH Wavemaker
Orbit Marine LED's
Skimmer - eshopps PSK-150

I will post some pics as it progresses.

Well - after a lot of reading, and talking and reading - I have gone in a new direction with my build. I am doing a sump and refugium downstairs in my "sump room" I am going to start a build thread and post some pics.

Welcome! I started with a cichlid as well. Haven't looked back since! Can't wait to see your build.

Thanks - I a keeping the Cichlid tank - it will be in the same room. opposite corner from the couch.

Nice! I probably would've, but didn't have the room plus 3 other tanks at the time. Still don't have the room. There is a freshwater thread on here as well, if you're interested.
