This is going to be my first show so I'm excited. So is it like a super huge fish store? Bet the prices are pretty cheap

Yea pretty much... Just like booths everywhere... Can get crowded... Sunday is better for deals cuz people don't wanna take everything back with them... Aha

I might be headed to MAX myself my Club president of FRAG is running a booth out there. Be sure to look for it Rocky's Reef is the name. I'm supposed to help him run it but not sure if I can make it. He's already got over 250 frags made. Check him out if you go.

Lucky me I am going Sunday. I'm excited not much of negotiator just hope I don't exceed my budget.
I'll have to check that booth out can't wait to see all the different frags available.

You need to start becoming a negotiator aha... Make sure you know retail prices on stuff you want... Don't want to think something is a good deal when it really isn't... Should be tons of frags for you to see...

A lot of it is frags, some tech, and at least one vendor has fish. That's how it was last year, anyway.
Bring a cart or something XD

I am more interested in Fish since my cycling should be done by then hopefully. If not I have a quarantine tank waiting. I am looking for common fish like blue tang, yellow tang, cardinal, and clownfiish. I could get them pretty heap in my lfs but hopefully I can get a good deal on them at the show. What aboout equipment like return pump and HOB overflows? I am trying make a sump for my 55g.

I want to recommend you look into your stocking plan a little better. Hippo tangs can hit around a foot long and their recommended tank size is 180g. Even yellows need more than a 55. You might be able to get away with a ctenochaetus genus tang (tomini, bristletooth, etc).

That shouldn't be a problem that's why I am buying sump and overflows and equipment I am trying to buy a 200+ tank. That's I ask if they sell equipment. I heard about blue hippo reach that size.

vivid aquariums in canoga park. Hands down. Best corals/fish/inverts. Good customer service

I'm going to have check it out. So far visited tropical imports Glendale. Tropical fish in Pasadena, bob fish in east LA cheapest fish stock anywhere I visited and fish best of quality. Clowns go for $10 and they are nice. And they have rare fish

Please do. I sometimes visit Tropical Imports only when it's an emergency since it's the closest LFS from home. But no other LFS in the area have the quality like Vivid
