Hello from Lyles TN

Welcome to R2R and the wonderful folks, information and help.
Patience, it is the big word around here, Reefing is patience to cycle, to watch things grow, to keep your tank balanced.
I recommend to everyone joining to create a tank build thread.
1. You get to see where you have started and how much you have grown in this hobby.
2. We love pictures and to see what your doing with your tank.
3. It’s a great learning tool for all of us to see what works and doesn’t . We learn great stuff from each other.
Lastly the only bad question here is the one not asked...

Welcome to R2R! Show off the tank! Lots of great folks in this community. We’re here to help:).

lots of fun/info/fun/help/fun....

Glad to be here. Working on my first saltwater tank. Currently checking things off my list to get what I want before I even start. I will have questions. I have decided on a 36x18x21 tank.

Very nice! Welcome to R2R!! What are you trying to keep?

It’s got similar dimensions to my original plan but I might get the Waterbox AIO 50.2.

Either way my fish list isn’t complete. But here’s my thoughts of everything I am interested in.

Will have:
1 Yellow Coris Wrasse
2 Mocha Gladiator Clownfish or similar variety
1 Elongate Dottyback
Bonded pair of Orange Spotted Pawn Gobies w/ Red banded shrimp
1 Starry Blenny

Others I’m thinking of:
2 yellow headed Jawfish
1 firefish
3-6 zebra barred Dartfish
I Smiths Blenny
1 Cherub Angelfish
1-3 Sapphire Blue Damsels

Inverts:
Tuxedo Urchin / Pincushion Urchin
Fire Shrimp
Cleaner Shrimp
Trochus Snails
Nassarius Snails
Blue legged hermit crabs
Group of sexy shrimp- worry about the yellow wrasse however.

Corals:
Euphyllia corals will dominate
Zoanthids few colorful varieties
Toadstool maybe 1
Elegance coral- love them
Candy Cane Coral- maybe
Duncan Coral- love them

Love the livestock ideas, especially the shrimp and goby relationships!

As for the sexy shrimp and yellow wrasse, I see so many mixed opinions. I guess it does just depend on your specific one’s personality. Happy reefing!
