Hey everyone.. My name is Ryan. I have been in the fish hobby for about 10 years, with 5 of those being in saltwater. I am looking forward to all that I can learn from the experienced hobbyists here! This hobby is definitely what gets me through these Wisconsin winters... ugh .

Right now I have a relatively new 75 gal mixed reef that I am going to be focusing on soft and zoa gardens, as well as a few anemones.

Lighting: 4 Ecoxotic Panorama Pros and a retrofit 2x T5HO in the canopy

Filtration: 35 gal sump (DIY) with SWC 160 skimmer, fuge, BRS GFO reactor, and mag 5 return

Fish: 2 oscellaris clowns, and 1 yellow tang.

Corals: mixed soft, zoas, and very few SPS and LPS

Inverts: rose bubble tip, purple tip condylactis

I took a break from the hobby for the most of 2013, but couldn't stay away long and had to get something set up again. Right now I am battling a micro bubble problem that I think is in my return plumbing, and a need for better organization of equipment and cords :/

Glad to be here and thanks!

Welcome aboard. Love the size of a 75 gallon. Sounds like you have a real nice set up. Still amazes me to come home to a reef tank when it's zero outside.

Welcome to the Forum! Can't wait to hear more about the tank. Also, if you have any pictures I would love to see them. :D

Thank you everyone! I completed a "my tank" thread now too , so feel free to check it out. I need to add a lot more photos (but I am not able to get some good photos with my phone camera unfortunately).
