Started my first reef tank a little over a year ago, but was into freshwater systems for the last thirty plus years.
The tanks I've currently got are two standard 29 gallon "nanos"
The first which is a little over a year old is a mixed reef sumpless system. It has a aquamaxx hob-1 skimmer and an AC110 filter running carbon, purigen and reef rubble .
Corals ; florida ric, yuma, 2 chalices, 2 blastos, 2 frogspawn, 2 hammers, blue dot mushroom, blue harry muchroom, green hairy mushroom, plating monti, purple porites, 2 palys, favia, platygyra.
Inverts, pom pom crabs, sexy shrimp, scarlet hermits, zebra hermit, blood red cleaner shrimp, feather duster, tube anemone, 4 rock flower anemone, 1 maxi mini anemone, 1 red mini carpet anemone, randalls pistol shrimp, porcelain anemone crab
fish; female sailfin molly, purple firefish, tailspot blenny.
The second 29 is going to be focused on a malu anemone and sps(mostly) .
Has a converted wet/dry filter with a built in skimmer
Currently it has some palys that I transferred over from my other tank(VDM, fruit loops, blue tubs, devils armor, utter chaos. a kind of people eater I can't remember which, purple poccillopora, ORA joe the coral acro.
Inverts; blue legged hermits, emerald crab, porcelain crab, Caribbean pistol shrimp, dwarf yellow feather duster, red mini carpet anemone(clone from the other tank)
fish ; pair of black photon Ocellaris, dusky yellow streak blenny.
The adventure continues I guess.
