Woops, sorry! The power of a distracting yawn!
Hi there, my husband and I are both new to saltwater tanks and we're looking for some general advice and tips!
We haven't even set up our tank yet so feel free to start literally at the basic beginning!
Also, wondering about tanks with coral, fish, and like anenomes and shrimp as far as overpopulating?
How often do you do half/10% (or whatever amount) water change?
Is it really advisable to get little vacuum cleaner thingys for tanks?
Any better testing equipment out there than the little pH strips or is everyone quite happy with their performance?
People keep telling me that as long as you start with the strong basics in your tank its pretty self maintaining, but I've always heard they're expensive and difficult to maintain! Just a bit nervous/excited and want to do some solid researching!
