Hey everyone! My names Matt and I am 17. I have always been fascinated with fish and ocean life and started a freshwater 40 gallon breeder over a year ago. Shortly after being in the hobby, I decided that I wanted to take my hobby a step further. I began researching saltwater and reef tanks and instantly became obsessesed. I ininially wanted to tranform my 40B into a reef tank, but found an amazing deal that I couldnt pass up. For $200, I snagged a 120 gallon tank with a sump, skimmer, light and wavemakers through a friend of my dads at work. I have done a lot of research, but im sure I will have many questions in the future! Im going to try to take a lot of pictures as I progress through the setup of my tank! Im excited to advance in the hobby and make connections with the reefers on this forum!
Your starting reefing at a great age. I started with a 90 when I was 19. It's been down hill since then. Take it slow and read as much as you can.
