I've been a luker for a while so I've been reading everything I can! Some of it I dont understand yet but I'm starting to slowly pick up on some of the terminology and the basics of maintaining a good water quality. Definitely a lot to learn though!
 
Welcome 2 the Reef! Post a photo of your eel so we can tell what species it is. You could get some great caretaking advice from the fish experts on the forum.
It's an Indian Mud Moray, here's two photos I took the other day and one from when I first got him, I'll try to take more when he comes out from his hidey spot.

I've never had an eel, but I've been led to believe they're finicky eaters. They might also feed less frequently than the other fish in your tank.
This is a nice looking fish, BTW. Congrats!
