Hi, my name is Tom and I am a....wait...wrong group! Welcome Ross...glad to have you...looks like you will have a heck of a build, make sure to take some pics and head over to member build forum to start a build. It is also a great place to get ideas too.

Sounds like a nice tank. Be sure to post pics of your progress as we all love to share tanks !!

Welcome to R2R!!!!! Also, there is local reef club here in the Nashville area. Feel free to check it out via the Local Reef Clubs forums at the link below. We do meet regularly, usually once a month. We have raffles, cookouts, etc as well.

Thanks reaclimating! Great point! I'm trying to increase my system volume as much as possible, so maybe it's not so much a quarantine tank as it is an acclimation/holding/frag tank. I've also toyed with the idea of making just one a huge sump. But since the aquarium the will sit about 4 feet above the garage floor on the back side, I was thinking about taking advantage of gravity. But it's all in planning still!

Welcome to R2R!!!!!!!

You could also consider making this a fuge. I love a big fat fuge lol.

Keep us updated with LOTS AND LOTS of pics =)
