Fairly new to r2r so I thought I'd share my tank with all you knowledgeable little reefers. So I have a 40 breeder tank with a beananimals overflow. It's my first one so I like it alot and still getting used to it. As for sump I have a 3 chamber 20l with will be swapped for a trigger system sump very soon.
As for equipment, my return pump is a reef octopus 3500 dc and I really like the silent operation of it. The feed mode and slow start are really nice options. I'm currently running it on #2 setting for a longer dwell time in the sump.
For lighting I am running a radion Gen 3 and it has so far exceeded my expectations. I'm running it at 20% on reef creation mode and will be ramping it up along the next few months.
For flow in the tank I have 3 mp10wes(all ramped down pretty low) I have three for making sure I have no dead spots and for future plans on a spa dominant tank.
Skimmer is a reef octopus 110 and it's doing a wonderful job!
As of right now I have a pair of clowns and some gsp, yellow polyp, 5 mixed zoa's, couple leathers and mixed mushrooms. I'll post some picts as soon as I get some time with the lights on.
Any questions or ideas please let me know!
