Hello reefers! My name is Dennis and this is my first post on R2R. Been out of the SW hobby for awhile (almost a decade) but jumped back in recently with this tiny tropical/Hawaii-themed, volcano pico (UNS 3N).
I have pretty much just kept nano reef tanks in the past (I like small things), so I'm having a blast with this tiny pico. The volcano light and bubbler are controlled by a remote control, and I added a backlight with 16 different color options (also remote controlled) behind the tank to add some extra pop. I designed the tank primarily with my 3-year old son in mind and he loves it (or at least I think he does).
Still stocking this tank, but so far it has zoas, branching GSP, toadstool, clove polyps, 2 RFAs (plus 1 baby), 1 sexy shrimp, and a Hawaiian CUC (snails and hermits) shipped from the Big Island (IPSF). Oh and that's dragon's breath macro on top of the volcano.
I'm hoping to set-up a larger (though still a nano) tank soon as well. Just can't make up my mind on the tank.
Anyway, looking forward to meeting reefers here and learning more about this community and site.
Just wanted to say hello here before I disappear into the R2R Nano Reefs sub-forum forever. LOL.
