I really love fish, but I've never had a saltwater aquarium. I'm hoping to have one in a year. I debated awhile on signing up to this forum because I don't have an aquarium yet. I have 10+ years in freshwater experience. I had the experiences of why not to put an agressive fish (freshwater 'sharks') with passive fish (guppies mostly) and that checking water parameters is important. At one point I had 4 freshwater tanks set up and I wanted at least one other one. I realized that when I was pondering how/where moving the furniture would give me more room to set up more tanks that I was addicted in a good way. The reason I don't have a tank right now is that I'm planning on moving to Chicago in less than a year after I finish with my associates degree in Network Engineering.
I'm 26 and sometimes I take the longer road, the road that people tried to educate me on how to avoid (read: finances and such). I love fish, IT stuff especially security and working with Linux. I'm working on finishing up a handful of certifications (Network+, Security+, Linux+, CCNA, and MCSE). I have 2 cats and two dogs. Oh, I also love gardening so I figure having corals and fish can combine my love of gardening and fish keeping. Its late and I'm super tired, if you have any questions I'll happily answer them.
