Hello,
Might as well introduce myself. I have been into reefing for a little over 4 months. I bought a mature 70 gallon tank with a 20 gallon "sump" off of craigslist. It was pretty neglected, covered in algae, but I wanted it to be a project. Starting from scratch is fun, but I liked the challenge of restoring a cheap tank. I have been adding and modifying it ever since. It came with a Banggai Cardinalfish, that we (my wife and I) believe is around 4-5 years old. We have added 2 Ocellaris Clownfish, 1 Green Chromis (3 originally), and a Kole Tang. We have a RBTA, 6 Mexican Turbos, a Snowball Urchin, a Royal Urchin, a Conch, a Sand Sifting Starfish, and a couple other smaller snails. Coral wise, we have a Frogspawn, Xenia, a Green Hammer, a Green Birdsnest, a random LPS, a Neon Green Trumpet, and a hitchhiker Zooanthid that came on the back of an urchin.
Lighting is a simple cheap T5 system, that came with the tank. The corals have been reacting very well to it. We have in our sump a refugium with sea lettuce, and a GFO/Carbon BRS reactor. We are running the new 200 HPG heater from Finnex. Thats a bout it.
