Hello from South Carolina

Hi Jamey and welcome to R2R. Hope you enjoy your stay. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Do you happen to know what type of pump you will be running. If you are going internal, I would recommend an eheim our Tunze pump.

I'll probably go with Rio pumps for the skimmer and sump return as they fit the budget. I'm still not sure if I'm going to connect the closed loop system. It is drilled for a 1" inlet and twp 3/4" returns...still trying to decide how large of pump I can run and still be fish safe. I have some reservations about creating too much suction around that inlet.

I wouldn't associate with this guy if I were you all. I've had a few run-ins with him and he's nothing but trouble. How are you Jamey? I just joined R2R today and ran across your post. I've got the nano reef up and running well and now I have the itch to get a bigger reef going, so I thought I'd do a little research first.

My man!!! It's about time you got a big boy tank...lol! just sayin...
I'll pass along everything I learn. Here's what I have so far...saltwater is expensive! Did you go look at that 90?

Oh yeah, the local lfs guy has already told me about Joey...we will be acquainted soon enough for sure.

Oh gosh, Richard has been at it again!? Welcome to the wonderful world of SW and I'm sure we'll meet soon ;)

Hi, welcome to r2r!! Good luck with your tank. I would love to see some pics of your freshwater tank. I have a soft spot for angelfish.

If I had a camera worth a nickle...lol They are pretty decent though...I have some Paraibas, smokey blues, pearscale clowns het. for Philippine blue, and one big koi male. Maybe I'll try again this weekend.

This is the best my sad little camera would do. There is a big male koi left, his mate died, a couple or pearlscale clowns het. for pb, and the smaller ones are paraiba and blue smokeys. YOu may have noticed a couple of red turq. discus as well.
