Hi,
I'm a recent addition to Reef2Reef. I've been active in the hobby for 2-3 years now and our current tank is a 90gal mixed reef we've had up for a year. I was active in the Boston Reefers club when we lived on the east coast and now in the Bay Area Reefers club. Highlights of our current tank have been our breeding Mandarin pair and corals we've grown out from small frags over the last year.
Full tank shot:
Rainbow Acans we grew out from a single polyp, to win the BAR growout contest:
We've had great luck with our tank other than a bad round of marine velvet early on. It's been a great adventure having a real sump and full automation on this tank after running two very DIY nano tanks in Boston. You can read more about our setup and track our tank over the last year in our BAR tank journal: http://bareefers.org/forum/threads/hornberson-reef-dsa-90-gallon-mixed-reef.17765/
Keeping a happy and healthy reef tank is a great challenge and it's a lot more fun when you're learning and sharing with a community of fellow reefers, so I'm excited to be part of the community here and look forward to meeting more of you on the forums.
