Hello everyone from beautiful West Virginia. I've been lurking on here for awhile and with the Tidal Gardens sale today I thought it was finally time to create an account.

I'm new to the hobby and have a four month old 29 gallon bio cube I bought used. It's been upgraded with intank filtration and refugium baskets, LED lights with a bluefish controller, and most recently an ATO. I've learned a lot from this forum and want to extend a thanks to all the members who post so much great information here.

My clowns and I are excited to finally add a couple of corals.

Any specific corals you plan on trying to buy? With live sales I usually have a list of stuff I'm wanting so I don't go too crazy haha.
My list was a zoa or two, a clove or green star polyp, and something interesting but not too expensive. I didn't want to cry if/when I make a mistake and kill something my first go around with corals. LOL. I've picked up a Bob Marley, a Purple Clove Polyp, and a Duncan. That seems like a pretty good start. I may pick up one more if I see something really good pop up.

Cool those are some great starter corals!

Hi to you and your clowns! Welcome! Glad you joined.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you in West Virginia:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
