Hey everyone.

I just joined this forum about a week ago and have been doing a lot of reading and drooling over pics of some of the great tanks people have set up.

I've had freshwater tanks but just set up my first saltwater tank 2 weeks ago. It's a Nuvo Mini 38. I wanted much bigger but figured I should start with something small to start so I can really get the hang of it. I've had live rock in the tank from day 1 and just added a couple of Chromis. I want to give the tank plenty of time to stabilize before I start adding more expensive items. I'm really looking forward to getting more in the tank!

Alright! Welcome to R2R, and the hobby! You should definitely start a building thread and let us follow your progress! Happy reefing!

Welcome to R2R! Thanks for joining and please make sure and post often!

Welcome to the forum! Feel free to ask any questions you have. It's a very friendly place here.

I think I will start a thread on how my tank builds out. The first picture, taken from my phone, is the tank glowing blue and so cloudy you can't even see the live rock in it. :)

Welcome to R2R. Your tank sounds good but there are other ways to cycle a tank without torturing live fish like a table shrimp. I'm sure you didn't know that. I have a lot of older books that tell you to use damsels to cycle. I can't wait to see some pics though. Lol
