Hello, my name is Ryan. Pretty new to this hobby just starting up a new tank. Its in the cycling process now, here is what I have set up. Any equipment advice would be appreciated. Do I NEED a Skimmer?

10g IM Nuvo Fusion/w Media Basket (what media is recommended)
Aquamaxx Nemo 18w LED
Eheim 600 pump 160gph
Cobalt 50w heater
Aquatop 260 gph circulation pump
CaribSea Hawaiin Black Sand 10lbs
CaribSea Life Rock 9lbs

Welcome to R2R!!! If you can find a skimmer to fit I would suggest one. With that said many nano tanks do fine without skimmers just make sure to keep up with water changes.

I just saw the "what media is recommended". I would personally run chemipur elite and filter floss (changing the filter floss regularly)
