HI all,

thought I would start my R2R time in this group just spending some time introducing myself.

I'm very new to Marine aquariums, about 1 week, have had a tropical tank for a few years but when I moved house we donated our fish to friends for the move and now we are ready to start again.

so we have just bought one of the Aqua one cubes, 275L, which has the sump and comes with a couple of hearters, pump and protein skimmer. Over the course of the week we have made some people laugh by having to take the tank portion of the aquariem back out of the drive on a sack truck and walk it down a road in the pitch black and round the corner to get it in the back of the house. and we have had loads of fun doing it, buying the live rock and positioning it, repositioning it and oh yes repositioning again, possibly turning it to dead rock but it will live again (we hope).

We now have the water in, salt in, live /dead rock in, protein skimmer working (we think:squigglemouth:) lights set up, just not on.

Let the cycle waiting begin!

guess I will be asking questions and trying to learn for you all for a while but hope in the future I will be able to give back too

Well the site is one person greater now that you're here. You'll find (at least in my experience) that its a super friendly place that wont talk down to people and most everybody is willing to share their experiences and knowledge freely. So welcome aboard and looking forward to seeing you active in the community.
