my names AJ I'm new to the saltwater world. Started out with a 5 gallon Evo kit just to get the hang of it. Put 2 small clown fish in there with some live rock for my 2 year old who is obsessed with nemo. Well they quickly seemed like they just weren't to happy to be in such a small tank so today I went out and bought a JBJ 30 gallon rimless. And transferred the fish over. Any suggestions on what to do next would be great!!
As of right now I have the 2 clownfish and a tiger pistol shrimp soon to get a goby to pair them up. Thanks in advance

I've been skimming through that thread. I will post pictures as soon as I get more live rock in the tank. right now it looks a little empty because I transferred the rock out of my 5 gal.

Welcome to R2R and the salty world.

Just an update I have purchased a marine land reef light for the tank. Since then I have got a lot of brown hair algae build up. So I hunted for a clean up crew. Ended up buying a cleaner shrimp for the rocks and a lawnmower Blenny for the sand sifting along with 8 blue leg hermits. The next day my larger clown fish was gone and I found the lawnmower Blenny dead under the live rock. Still no sign checked the whole tank no where to be found. Got a credit from the lcf on the lawnmower and ended up getting a yellow watchman goby to go with the pistol shrimp. Along with a wrasse and another clown that is double the size of the small one I have. As soon as I put the clown in the little one never leaves his side. It's like there best buds. The wrasse found a little cave in the live rock and is pretty much staying there only putting his head out to look around. Goby has not found the pistol shrimp yet but I'm excited for that to happen. Any ideas moving forward would be greatly appreciated
