I joined the forum because I used it already in my google searches.
I consider myself a noob, and probably always will. My dad had fish when I was young, but he's gone and I picked up the hobby about 3 yrs ago. Sometimes I want to rip my hair out, other times I'm like "ohh so serene, so good for mental health.' lol 2 sides, same coin, I reckon. Sure wish I'd listened to him more about how to take care of fish. My main job, however, was to suck on the hose lol.
Anyway, I am also a catkeeper (or they are peoplekeepers), and have 2 cats and foster kitties from a local shelter. The main reason I mention this, and you probably all know: cats love fish! I have a kitty now who is extremely traumatized, and I know this is going to be a very long road to socializing her, but no cats can refuse fishes, so she will come out and either paw at the 20g that has fish that aren't bothered by it, or she will stare at the 40b and 30g from the floor. I have a tank with no fishes that has plants and she watches that one too. I have to figure out a new system for active kitties, though, cuz the last one I had kept (kept! stubborn!) jumping on the top of my barb tank and stressing them out.
So that's me in a nutshell, retired cat and fishkeeper. That's all that really counts (well, besides my husband and bff who both share my love for cats and fishes).

Either way, we love pics, so get to showing the fish (and cats) off.
