Hey all, new to the hobby and already addicted.

Got a 40g tank to start and already wishing i’f gotten a 120g tank in stead.

About 9 weeks old. Paramaters are great.

As of now, I have 2 clowns. One Maroon and one black and white occelaris. Different personalities, but they get along very well. The Maroon is about twice the size.

Candycane Coral that apparently has a Vermetid snail hitchhiker.

1 rainbow paly colony, as well as 3 constellation paly polyps.

1 small fields of green leptoseris.

Pulsing Xenia - really afraid of it(horror stories) but my wife loves it...

1 Cleaner shrimp, 6 trochus snails, 3 asrea and 2 Cyprea Moneta.(money cowrie)

Im a big cowrie collector. So happy to have live snails in my tank!

Thanks for the welcome.
Welcome! I would highly recommend you try to get rid of the Xenia asap. Trust me, I had it and it got everywhere, I had to replace all of my rock to finally get rid of it.

That’s what ive been thinking.
My wife loves it though. Regular pruning maybe?
Once I get her another wavey coral with a lot pf movement that she likes I might get away with removing it from the tank...

You should get a nice alveopora or goniopora. They both move beautifully in the current but won't take over your tank.

Nice shrimp by the way! I love my cleaner shrimp.
