I will be getting a 60 gallon and clown fish, I would like some assistance in filter type chosing stuff, aswell as anything i should know, Thanks ❤️
Warm welcome to R2R!

Your rock and sand will be the best filter of all.
I simply ran an Aqua-Clear filter changing sponge every week, a skimmer, and two Jebao OW-25’s wavemakers for flow and two Viparspectra 165 watt lights, two Aqueon Halos.

Welcome! I had a clown, live rock, and sand for years. A good HOB protein skimmer will take care of waste(nutrient) removal. Mushrooms and zoas are super easy to care for. Possibly an anemone down the road. Keep up the water changes and test the water often. Making good quality water in your place will save you money in the long run. Look into a RODI system

Not sure if anyone directly answered from a big picture, but shape and type are the major issues you should look at first. Have you managed a saltwater tank before? What's your experience level? A tank, stand and sump gives you the most options but an all in one may be a best learning system to try. How much do you plan to spend? I would be more worried about how much you spend on lighting and what you really want to keep. A 32g Fluval AIO could make a good FOWLER tank but not an ACRO growing setup. Give us a little better scope of your wants and we can point you in a better direction. Welcome aboard !!
