Hello! I'm new.

Hi all,

I am in the beginning phase of building out my first 200 gallon reef tank. I've had a fresh and brackish tank in the past, and finally decided to take the plunge with a reef which is really why I started in the first place.

Any advice as I go would be awesome.

Thanks all! I'm in the process of having a sump tank built out for the system. I know it's a bit of a waste of money as opposed to building one from parts... but I don't have the time to make sure I get it right, so I'm fine paying a little extra to farm it out.

Anyhow... I'm probably a good 4-6 weeks out from really getting going. Right now, it's just about figuring out lighting (LED or no), Sand (Bare bottom or sand bed), refugium or no, the list seems to go on and on.

I'll be sure to post updates as they happen!
