New forum member here. I am comming back to saltwater after a 8 year hiatus. I have had a few tanks in the past ranging from 29 to 55 gallons. Always enjoyed them and they were mostly FOWLR.

However, kids are gone and i have more time so I am comming back and am jumping into a much larger reef project this time. I will start a build thread soon as I am going to need some help getting up to speed on larger tanks and sump operations. I will be honest and say i have never had a tank with a sump, always considered one but never took the plunge. This time i will certainly have one. I am currently deciding between 150g and 180g tanks that are available locally. There is a 250 as well but that one is a bit intimidating. Leaning heavily on the 180 but would take a bit more work to get running. The 150 is all there minus a protien skimmer. The 180 would need a bit more tlc on the stand and plumbing. Decisions, decisions.

So there you have it and i look forward to learning from everyone here.

Thanks for the warm welcome.. I have started my build up thread. Open to any and all discussions on my choices and my path forward. One thing I am not afraid of and thats saying I need help. That and I dont know everything and well, you all know the rest.. lol
