Wow very nice colors! What made you go with a sandbed?

Thank you :) To me it boiled down to keeping certain fish and inverts that prefer sand. I feel the tank was too sterile looking, I also like the way the corals contrast to the sandbed. The sandbed is quite shallow, less than 1" in most spots, the grade is larger(Reef Flakes), so it does not kick up in a high flow tank. Thanks again :)

WOW stunning tank. SPS colors are outstanding. I was thinking about AP but man that is a lot of dosing, but it sure works. Every tank I see running AP is just beautiful. man its nice.

Love your tank Perry. I PMd you with questions about AF and getting started, still waiting to hear back from you.....;)

Thank You! I am finally getting catching up with growth too, if you want to try any aspects of AF, keep in mind they are universal, so you could try AF Reef Salt, AF Carbon, or AF Phosphate Minus. These are all very reasonably priced, that way you can use products that you may already use, and see the quality. You can hybridize the system too, so if you want to try some products, they are not too bad on the wallet :)

Sorry, I messaged you back, did not see that notification, thanks for the kind words!

Very nice corals. One question, does AF stand for aqua forest? I try my best to keep up with reef acronyms, just when I think I know em all, a new one pops up, lol

Yes, AF is Aquaforest :) A system, like many that will help to take your tank to the best level, but like anything, patience, observation, and general husbandry and maintenance cannot go ignored :) Cheers!

Welcome!! Awesome tank!!!

Thank you very much :)

A few of my favorite milli's and a spath :)
