I have a question about placement of Favia's and Acan's.
Should I put them on rocks or substrate? If on Rock should I cut their base down or just fit them in a crevice? Much appreciate any input. Thank you

Welcome sacutshall,
I usually remove from frag plug and either glue to rock or small rock for easy place and move if not happy.

:D ahhh I just figured out how ppl are using these things hehe now if I can just figure out how to give people something better then your standard thumbs up lol hope all goes well for you and sorry I got excided

On the rocks towards the bottom but not allowing sand to get on them and keep them 2-3 " away from neighbors as they are susceptable to being stung and mainly acans are aggressive corals that are capable of extending their stingers/feeders out to attack other corals near them.

And . . welcome from a Future Floridian Doral Springs (permanenly Spring 2022) which is getting blasted with storms. SMH

If you're talking about hurricanes, in my experience they are like Lighting never the same spot twice. But they do come close. PS watch out for the lighting
