Hi All,
My name is Vicki and I am from SW Wisconsin. I have been keeping sw aquariums for 15 years. I have had so many tank, started with a 38, went to 55, than 125, than a 265. A few years ago my mother became ill so long story short I needed to care for her so the 265 was taken apart and my husband changed it to a cichlad tank which he still has.
July of last year I got back into the hobby and set up a 75 gallon reef. Which is doing well,, except for the first time ever,, I added a blue tang that had velvet.. so needless to say I dont have any fish, My tank is going fallow for at least 2 months. In the mean time I have been adding corals and loving the colors of all types of corals. also so velvet never happens again I have a 40 gallon hospital tank cycling. ( i Know,) I should of had one before the Velvet outbreak.. Hard lesson learned.
Any way. cant wait to read everyones post,, see some beautiful tanks and get to know everyone.
