Well I'm Heidi and I'm new to the community here and new to saltwater aquariums. I work at a chain petstore and I'm the aquatic specialist but I have very little knowledge of saltwater even with the computer lessons they provide. I have had freshwater tanks for about 5+ years and have decided to challenge myself with a new adventure with starting a saltwater tank.

I have been reading a bunch from websites but wanted to ask here for personal opinions of what I might wanna make my tank setup be. I do work at Petco and taken computer training classes about saltwater but I still don't have a lot of knowledge in saltwater and my manager does all the work with saltwater while I handle freshwater since that's my strong point.

Welcome to R2R! Overall your plan looks pretty good. I would say the biggest thing that stands out are those LEDs. They are quite low wattage if I read it correctly. Almost more for viewing only rather than growth. From the corals you mentioned though, I would not think you need too fancy or expensive of lighting.

I moved my questions over to https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/new-to-saltwater-reef-aquariums-post-here.130/ because I realized this prolly should of been just for welcoming me. :D Thank you for your advice!
