Hello everyone, I’m new to the reef hobby. I had a 55gal tank as my first reef tank about a year and change. Then I moved and sold everything. I don’t have any pictures of that tank on this phone unfortunately. But selling everything was the easiest route. I took a 6month break then the itch started happening again. You know watching countless YouTube videos of reef tanks. So I caved in and I’m going to be doing a 25 lagoon nano. I would have gone 100+ gal but my landlord didn’t like that idea. All I have done now is the aquascape waiting on the salt to come in so I can start this cycle.

Welcome to R2R and best of luck! You can always get started by going to your local pet shop. Many have huge vats with salt water premade using RO/DI water and salinity around 1.024. $1 a gallon is all!
Lagoon biotope sounds interesting! Are you going to incorporate mangroves in you set up?

No mangrove as of now just going to be a mixed reef, but who knows what the future holds. I’m constantly changing my mind on the path I want to go down. I got the idea of this type build from Drew’s lagoon.
