I placed everything in tubs and allow temp to equalize and then transferred everything slowly and successfully Using soft net

Welcome to the R2R Family! place everything in tubs like stated above use a heater and a circulation pump and aerator in tub. Once tubs match temp of the tank your transferring to use net to move over.

Use as much water as possible from the old tank, and add bacteria. If it's just an upgrade in size, should be ok. I've done it many, many times, and never had an issue.
