Hello R2R World

Thanks for all the tank love folks! I'll upload some more pictures shortly - but I have two questions for #reefsquad.

1) For your build thread - can I continue to edit it after I create the post?
2) I saved a draft two days ago after working on my build thread. I logged on today and its gone - where can I find my drafts?

You will probably get better answers from the #admin than from the Reef Squad. We are just volunteers who try to help answer aquarium related questions. Now that said, some, not me, have been here long enough to know how the system works kind of inside out. So you may get a couple good answers here. And with the blue admin in this post, I think we'll get their attention as well.

I don't think you can edit after some relative short amount of time.
I would do the draft on your own computer (like in MS Word) and then transfer it to R2R.

Thanks for your response Ron, #Admin please let me know when you can

I am not an admin -- far from it. But this is what I know about your first question... You have a short window to edit your post after creating it. After that, it is there forever. However, if you become a reef supporter you can edit any time you want. So since I am a supporter, I can go into any of my posts, and make changes due inept typing and the guilt of being the daughter of a former HS English teacher, so I have to fix the grammar mistakes. Here is a link for more information: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/consider-upgrading-your-account-and-becoming-a-r2r-site-supporter-today.560424/

I have never "saved a draft", but I do know that if I start to type up a thread and then leave it. It disappears after awhile. I guessing it happens whenever the system resets itself or something (this I know from where I work and our technology there -- I know nothing about how the R2R website works or software used on it.) That is something for the admin team to help with.
